Alfa Romeo built a series of low volume, special edition cars based on Giulietta Sprint range. Sprint Speciale was the first one. Mechanically they were similar to standard models so for improved performance they relied on weight saving thin body panels and aerodynamics. As first Sprint Speciale it stylistically relies on BAT concept cars.
